Natalie Theriault, FNP-BC

Natalie Theriault is a Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Dermatology + Aesthetics with a background in dermatology and plastic surgery in 2012. She has over 10 years of healthcare experience with a special focus on medical and cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Natalie received her Master of Science degree in Nursing at DePaul University in Chicago where she earned an award for Clinical Excellence in Practice. Soon thereafter, she pursued the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at DePaul while continuing to work at Dermatology + Aesthetics. During her graduate education, she completed clinical rotations in critical care, emergency medicine, rehabilitation, obstetrics, women’s health, and pediatrics.

Prior to joining Dermatology + Aesthetics, Natalie worked at a Gold Coast plastic surgery practice. As a plastic surgical registered nurse, Natalie assisted in various cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. She also provided non-surgical aesthetic services including photorejuvenation, laser hair removal, cryolipolysis, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. Prior to pursuing her graduate education, Natalie worked at a North Suburban dermatology practice for 6 years. Initially, she worked as an assistant during medical and cosmetic procedures until transitioning to the practice’s research institute. As a research coordinator, Natalie designed and conducted studies on numerous medical devices and treatments while assisting in the medical writing for many well-known published studies and presentations.

Natalie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, The National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, SigmaTheta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.
